AMA Projects’ were engaged to undertake a new fitout for DFAT’s Global Watch Office.

The works included:

  • the construction of secure walls
  • extensive acoustic treatments and state of the art audio visual equipment (allowing for 24/7 monitoring of world events)
  • specialised communications, electrical and access control along
  • an extension of DFAT’s secure IT network.

The surrounding offices remained operational and therefore out of hours works were required to minimise disruptions. Security escorts in a 1:5 ratio were required throughout the duration of the project.
