Security Capability

AMA Projects has extensive experience delivering high security projects, both nationally and internationally. Our experience is diverse throughout government departments and private sector clients. Our experience and team of security-cleared construction personnel and project management professionals are available no matter what the client needs

Our involvement in both the design and construction of secure projects has led our project teams to regularly deal with acoustic consultants, SCEC endorsed security consultants, and SCEC endorsed contractors (locksmiths) in delivering the requirements of secure zones and risk mitigation control measures.

Our security projects have included electronic security installations such as Type 1A Alarm Systems & CCTV, physical security installations including internal upgrades to meet the ASIO technical notes standards, blast/ballistic protection works, acoustic upgrades and external upgrades such as bollard installations.

AMA Projects has created a SCEC endorsed Zone 3 Room that is protected by a Class 5 Alarm which satisfies the T4 ASIO rating. This provides AMA with a secure accredited facility for documentation and security storage up to Secret Level.

Secure Networks

We are often engaged well before the commencement on site to manage or contribute to the design of the security components and the built requirements of different secure zones. Our early involvement ensures all team members are aware of the process and the different ways in which a built environment will achieve its secure zone briefing requirements.

All projects have a combination of Security Specific Inspection Test Plans and the coordination of key inspections with the appropriate consultants scheduled from the beginning of works. This comprehensive planning strategy results in achieving the desired physical security requirements including acoustic ratings, which eliminates disruptions to client operations post-occupancy. It is also important that subcontractors with the right skill sets and experience are engaged to perform our works, as this can have a considerable bearing on the results of a secure project.

Our security specialists

AMA Projects has formed a strong team of high security environment, experienced personnel that continually delivers projects successfully while adhering to specific site requirements. Without such experience as that of our team, these requirements can prove challenging. We have a range of cleared project personnel and tradesman including those with Baseline, NV1 and NV2 clearances.

The personnel that form this team of specialists have successfully delivered over 100 projects in 5 countries and 5 states, of which includes over 30 individual Defence sites.

It is the flexibility of our personnel to travel as required, build rapport with key stakeholders and partner with local project team members who have strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, which ensures that AMA Projects successfully delivers projects no matter the location nationally and internationally.
