The project was delivered as a result of CSIRO planning to relocate their Energy Group Gas Characterisation Laboratories from North Ryde to the Lindfield site.

The scope of work involved:

  • demolition of the existing rooms
  • fitout of the new laboratory,
  • a new external gas storage enclosure and concrete slab.

The project featured seismic bracing for the walls, fume cupboards, and reticulated gases, which required meticulous completion of all quality hold points to ensure the infrastructure was fit for purpose.

AMA Projects also coordinated relocation of the nitrogen gas lines prior to construction commencing and assisted CSIRO with the commissioning and accreditation of their equipment after Practical Completion had been achieved.
