AMA Projects were engaged by the Western Sydney University to upgrade the existing sensory labortory.
The works included:
- the demolition of the entire area of the existing food lab and class room
- the removal of an industrial entrance with 5m door for entry of delivery vehicles, along with an internal, low-height concrete wall
- bringing the new food test lab in line with current standards
- building a new teaching classroom and constructing a student common area
- excavation of the external areas and erecting a steel structure at the building entry
- comms upgrades on nearby buildings.
Despite significant, challenging environmental factors over the course of the project, AMA Projects persevered and completed the project to the client’s satisfaction.
