As the managing contractor for the ACT Government, AMA Projects managed the Level 2 fitout to re-purpose the previously dual tenanted space into a purpose built fitout for the DPP.

These works included:

  • various feature ceilings
  • heritage conscious construction
  • security upgrades both physical and electronic
  • stringent acoustic requirements
  • base-building upgrades
  • refurbishment of existing amenities and kitchens.

The biggest challenge was in the design; budgetary constraints required outside of the box thinking and coming up with solutions to ensure design intent was maintained.

Detailed value management was undertaken to ensure the high quality finish was not compromised, saving the ACT Government approximately $300k.
