Riverside Theatres

AMA Projects were engaged to complete this complex project, involving staged works in a live operation environment.

The works were scheduled to occur at ad-hoc intervals during the day and night, dependant on theatre availability. This required a high level of planning to ensure theatre operations would not be disrupted.

The project involved:

• the upgrade of existing fire services including fire hydrants, smoke vents, fire walls and doors and fire penetrations
• upgrading the mechanical ducts and electrical services
• upgrading the stair handrails and signage.

The works were conducted to ensure the theatre would achieve BCA compliance.
