AMA Projects were engaged to perform the works to the Australia Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) in Hobart.
The works involved:
- a secure office fitout, in a fully occupied building,

- making scheduling a key priority to ensure staff and public are minimally affected by the works

- installing and upgrading new and existing secure partitions

- careful planning of orders for materials to avoid any delay to the programme as the majority were sourced from suppliers in Canberra

- a full-time Site Manager based in Hobart to oversee the works and provide clear communication to the project team and client based in Canberra

- installing lighting and fire services in a pre-designated location, however, once the fitout was complete less lighting and fire services were required to achieve compliance resulting in cost savings

- rebuilding a section of the perimeter to achieve Zone 2 compliance

- maintaining acoustic security while successfully resolving airflow problems in the ceiling.
