For the second year in a row, AMA Projects is delighted to announce that we have been named Employer of Choice in the 2022 Australian Business Awards!

In its seventeenth year of running, the ABA Employer of Choice awards is one of the most prestigious of its kind. It recognises organisations who set themselves apart not only by investing in their service quality and innovation, but by investing equally in their people and culture. It considers a wide array of factors in its decision-making including business and product innovation, technological achievement, and employee engagement.

For this very reason, AMA Projects is honoured to be recognised in this award category along with other industry pioneers. Our success is driven by the passion of our people, so it only makes sense to invest back into them. We do this by continually striving to maintain open lines of communication, providing excellent training resources for staff at all levels, and ensuring professional development and promotion opportunities.

As a company we decided at the time of our inception that we would prioritise our values in all that we do. We made it our mission to conduct all our business operations with integrity and treat our people with utmost respect. We’re pleased to see that such values still hold water twelve years into the game, the success of which are manifested through key markers such as employee retention, wellbeing, and company culture. They’re also apparent in our annual employee satisfaction survey, which indicated that:

• 94% of staff reported that they were happy with their jobs
• 97% said they felt comfortable providing feedback to their manager
• 97% of staff felt their colleagues show each other respect.

“Receiving such a prestigious award two years in a row is a celebration of how far we’ve come at AMA Projects. Thirteen years in, we continue to strive towards our goal of providing excellent service in the construction management industry without compromise. By upholding values of integrity, trust, and respect in all we do; we foster a unique collaborative culture here which drives our success. It is a testament to the power of teamwork and innovation, something that we hope to bring with us as we continue to grow.”

— Matthew Ferrari, Director of Bid Management and Corporate Affairs.

This sentiment is shared by fellow Director’s Andrew Peereboom and Alex Singer, as well as all of us at AMA Projects.
