Coffs Harbour Demountables

AMA Projects was engaged to provide new teaching and bathroom amenities at the Coffs Harbour Army Cadet Training Facility to support the growth and demand. Works generally included the construction and installation of new demountable classrooms, toilets, all decking hand rails and steps as well as structural footings and concrete paving. All services were tied in to existing facilities.

The demountables were manufactured offsite and to be delivered via road transport up the Pacific Highway. Timing of installation prior to Christmas was impacted by school holiday transportation limitations (for wide loads). In the end, transport was rescheduled for January due to high winds and wet weather in Coffs Harbour which would have prevented the lift and placement of the units.

AMA Projects worked with BGIS to formally address EOTs with an amended programme and provided correspondence to assist BGIS consult with the end users explaining the circumstances.

Poor weather conditions delayed the delivery and due to this accelerated delivery was required between inclement weather.
